This Privacy Policy explains how Worry-Free Cleaning (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are the data controller for the information described here.

1. The data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

We collect this from you directly, and via our website, enquiry form, booking, and payment tools.
2. How and why we use it (and our lawful basis)

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we’ve balanced them against your rights. Where we rely on consent (e.g. marketing emails), you can withdraw it any time.
3. Photos of your property
3.1 We may take before/after photos of cleaned areas for quality records and to show you what was done. We avoid capturing people and personal/identifying items where possible.
3.2 We will only use your photos in marketing (e.g. website, social media) with your separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Marketing
4.1 We’ll only send marketing where the law allows, either with your consent, or to existing customers about similar services (you can opt out anytime).
4.2 Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe option. To opt out, email hello@worryfreecleaning.co.uk.
5. Sharing your data
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with:
- Payment providers: GoCardless (Direct Debit) and Stripe (one-off payments), who process payment data under their own privacy policies.
- People helping deliver your clean: only the details needed to do the work (address, access, preferences).
- Software providers: Google Workspace, Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, our website host, and any booking or accounting tools we use to run the business.
- Professional advisers: accountant, insurer, or legal advisers where necessary.
- Authorities, where required by law.
6. Where your data is held
6.1 We use reputable service providers to store and process data. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccuracies; erase it (“right to be forgotten”); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time.

9.1 If you have a concern, please contact us first. We’ll try to put it right.

10. Security
10.1 We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: access controls, secure accounts, and limiting who can see what to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously.
11. Children
11.1 Our services are aimed at adults. We don’t knowingly collect data about children except incidentally as part of providing a household service.

12.1 We may update this policy. The current version is always on worryfreecleaning.co.uk, with the “last updated” date above.
